FortLAN VIII Survival Guide

Location
- Indiana Tech, 1600 E Washington Blvd, Fort Wayne, IN 46803
- The LAN will be located on the 2nd Floor of Andorfer Commons in Seitz Conference Center rooms 205, 206, 207.
- Parking and entrance is located on the North side of the building off of E Washington Blvd, Stairs and an elevator is located on the main floor.
- A push cart is available for use on the handicapped ramp.
- Restrooms are located to the left of the Conference rooms around the bend.
- Smoking – Indiana Tech is a Smoke Free campus, Please help us keep it that way. You may smoke in your car or off campus.

Basic Rules and Guidelines
- No drugs or alcohol.
- Guests may come and watch for 1 hour and must be escorted by the attendee Inside the LAN area (see staff member for further accommodation). Guest and spectators will be allowed in the demo area and theater after 3:00pm Saturday.
- No Illegal file sharing.
- Please stay within the designated areas; we are renting the conference rooms not the whole building.
- Doors lock at midnight!
- If you need readmission, please find a friend to get the door for you. Indiana Tech Security will not accommodate you!
Pre-LAN Checklist
- Print and sign the waiver! Doing this ahead of time will speed up registration for you and everyone else!

- If you are under 10 years old, please get a parental or guardian signature.
- Back up your computer files!
- Update your games before coming so you aren’t bogging down the Internet connection!

What To Bring
- Network cable 25 feet or longer!
- A power strip with enough outlets for yourself!
- PC or Laptop
- Monitor, no larger than 32″. One monitor per seat.
- Headphones and microphone.
- No speakers allowed!
- Keyboard, mouse, mouse pad.
- Any emergency software you need in case your rig crashes.
- Chairs
- We will provide chairs, but feel free to bring your own computer or gaming chair.
- Pillows and blankets for our quiet room in case you’d like to sleep.
Food and Drink
- Feel free to carry in any food or non alcoholic beverages you wish to consume.
- We will provide soda for $2.00 all you can drink or 50¢ a cup or
- Nachos and cheese will be available for a $1.00 a serving.
- BAWLS will be available for $2.00 a 16oz. can.
- $5 Saturday Dinner
- Half of a large one-topping Papa John’s pizza and a cup of soda.

Charity Food Drive Raffle

- Charity Raffle Rules
- For every 5 can food items brought, limit 50 per person, you’ll receive a charity raffle ticket. Donation cut off will be at 2 pm Sunday with the PC raffle happening during the final raffle around 5 pm Sunday. We’re given away some really amazing prizes in this raffle! And as always, you must be present in order to win!
General Raffle
- Each early bird registration will receive 2 general raffle tickets for sponsor supplied prizes.
- Tournament winners will receive 1 additional general raffle ticket.
